The Hutcheson Brothers country music duo officially formed in December 2012 by (yes, actual brothers) Jon and Brandon Hutcheson.  Though the 2012 creation made the duo 'official', the truth is, both Jon and Brandon had plenty of experience in music prior to that point.
       The brothers grew up in Ridgely, Tennessee, a small town in Lake County, one of the state's least populated counties.  Lake County is known for a variety of things - Reelfoot Lake, the lone high school who is annually in the running for Single A football, basketball, and baseball championships, being boarded by the Mississippi River, and being the boyhood home of the legendary Carl Perkins.  The area is about as 'down-home' as anyone can get and is in the middle of the melting pot of so many varieties of music.  Being roughly 80 miles from Memphis, 180 miles from Nashville, 100 miles from Muscle Shoals, and 200 miles from St. Louis, and mixing in the steady sounds of Gospel music from being in the Bible Belt, the brothers were heavily influenced with the sounds of country, blues, rockabilly, rock, etc.
       Before Jon or Brandon ever played or sang a note, inspirations for their music journey began to develop at a young age.  Their mother, Lorie, performed over 10 years as a touring country-gospel artist in the late 1990s-mid-2000s, earning two-top 10 singles, including a highest charting rank of second.  Buck Hutcheson, the brothers' uncle, was a longtime member of The Memphis Beats, backing legendary rock-and-roller and Country Music Hall of Fame member 'The Killer' Jerry Lee Lewis.  With their upbringing and family-inspirations heavily embedded, the brothers also began to find themselves musically and identify with other artists who have also helped contribute to the Hutcheson Brothers' sound.
       Though the brothers performed in various cover bands in the early part of their career, they always made time to write songs together.  Eventually, Jon and Brandon took many of those songs - the cornerstones being 'Drive', 'Mississippi River Town' and 'Chillin'' - to Nashville and began their recording career in 2019.  Since then, singles such as 'She Don't Know She's Lonely' and 'Sip Happens' have followed.
       Over the course of their career, the Hutcheson Brothers have opened shows for legendary country music artists such as Shenandoah, Gene Watson, Confederate Railroad, Buddy Jewell, T. Graham Brown, Ronnie McDowell, Leona Williams, and more.  They have also performed at world-renowned events and venues such as The Bluebird Cafe, the NFL Draft, Nashville Superspeedway's NASCAR weekend, Today In Nashville T.V. show, The Dosey Doe Big Barn, Rosie's, and the Tina Turner Museum to name a few.
       Recently, on June 22, 2023, the brothers released their first studio album, 'Behind The Levee'.
       In addition to music, both Jon and Brandon are lifelong fans of the Dallas Cowboys and Tennessee Volunteers.  Both also enjoy watching and attending NASCAR events and slow cooking barbecue.
